Documentation
Learn about Forestritium's policies, guidelines, and community standards that make our ecosystem thrive.
Forestritium Code of Conduct
This is the root document from which all other platform-specific Codes of Conduct are derived.
Our Pledge
To make this community a haven for developers, we as contributors and maintainers pledge to making participation in our project and our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of their age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or any other personal factors.
Operational Protocol
Onboarding
- All new members must post an introduction within 48 hours of joining
- A role will be assigned based on your introduction, unlocking the rest of the production floor
- Need more time? DM any Maintainer or Administrator within those 48 hours for a 7-day grace period
- Unregistered accounts will be pruned. No lurkers allowed
Community Standards
Be Respectful
Treat every person with the dignity you would want extended to yourself. Harassment, personal attacks, and exclusionary behavior will not be tolerated on any platform or in any context.
Healthy Debate
Disagree freely with ideas. Keep critiques focused on logic and reasoning, not on the person behind them.
Constructive Feedback
When reviewing work, focus on helping the other person improve. Explain your reasoning. A review that teaches is more valuable than one that merely corrects.
Give Credit
Cite your sources. Respect open-source licenses and attribution requirements. Acknowledge what you have built upon.
Prohibited Conduct
Integrity First
No NSFW content, harassment, doxxing, or malicious scripts. We build; we do not break.
No Unsolicited DMs/Spam
Do not DM members for general tasks, to pitch products, recruit without permission, or beg for free tech support.
AI Transparency
If you are sharing AI-generated code or solutions to help someone in #help-needed, verify it works first. Don't just copy-paste hallucinations.
Report Violations
Report violations immediately to a maintainer or moderator. Contact: admin.forestritium@gmail.com
Maintenance and Inactivity Policy
To keep the Forestritium ecosystem active and useful, we follow a 1-year activity rule.
Projects
If a repository has received no updates for over 1 year, the owner must either:
- Delete the repository, or
- Add a file named
COMPLETED.md(only if the project is fully mature and will not require any updates for a while),DISCONTINUED.md, orINACTIVE.mdto the root, stating the reason for the pause and an expected restart date, if one is planned
Members
Members who are inactive for more than 6 months may be flagged or removed from the active member list to ensure it accurately reflects who is currently contributing.
Wellbeing
Time Away
We value "AFK" time.
If you need a break for life, family, or personal reasons, take it. Forestritium will be here when you get back.
Enforcement
Maintainers and Administrators have final say on rule interpretations.
Violations of this Code of Conduct are taken seriously. Enforcement actions may include a formal warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the organization, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
If you see something that breaks the ecosystem, report it to the maintainers. All reports will be handled with discretion and care.

Scope
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, and also applies when an individual is officially or unofficially representing the community in public or other spaces.
